About Our Children's Ministry

At Hillcrest Community Church, we believe that developing children's spiritual growth is critical to our mission as a church. We hope to nurture each child's relationship with God and emphasize the love Jesus has for all children. At Hillcrest, we create an environment where children can learn the word of God, worship together, and connect with those who share their faith. We foster positive, faith-based values like responsibility, kindness, and compassion.

Elementary Class

Children aged four to eleven participate in our elementary class during the 11:00 service on Sundays. Through Bible stories, teachings, and worship, we develop each child's spiritual connection with Christ. We play interactive games, make crafts, and do activities designed to enrich learning.

Nursery

Children under four are welcome to spend the service in our nursery, a safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers. We provide an opportunity for children to be introduced to a church environment early on. We provide a peaceful and fun space for children to begin experiencing the church community.

About Me

My name is Rin Greco and I am excited to be taking over as the Christian Education Director here at Hillcrest. I just graduated last spring from The University of Georgia with my degree in English Education, and I have started law school at The University of Tennessee. I was formerly the Assistant Children's Minister at St. James Methodist Church in Athens, Georgia. I have also previously worked with children in the public school system and at YMCA of the Rockies. I am very excited to be continuing my ministry here at Hillcrest.

I am always excited to talk to parents and church members about plans and hopes for the children's ministry here at Hillcrest. One of my top priorities is that parents feel their children are loved and receiving meaningful instruction in God's Word.
